Financial holds
We removed all financial holds so students can register for courses in the new student portal. If you still see a financial hold and think it’s a mistake, please resubmit a “Financial Hold” support ticket at help.byupathway.edu.

How do I pay tuition?
The new payment system is available at https://portal.byupathway.edu. To pay tuition for the current or past terms, go to "Finances" > "Pay Tuition." (We are aware of some payment validation issues. If you're unable to pay right now, try again in a few days.)

Tuition deadline
Block 1 charges were added to your balance on January 7 (Day 2). A 5% late fee won't be added until January 27.

Understanding financial information in the portal

  1. The Current Balance under Financials on your student portal homepage shows all pending charges before a term has started. You do not necessarily owe this amount that day.
  2. The Account Information page shows you what you currently owe. Tuition charges are added to accounts on Day 2, which was January 7 for 2025 Block 1. If you scroll down on this page, you can view all pending charges.
  3. An amount in parentheses means it’s a negative balance or an amount owed back to you. You do not owe an amount in parentheses. Example: ($62.25)
  4. An Academic Graduation Hold is a simple reminder that you can’t graduate unless your account balance is $0; it will not stop you from registering for courses.
