Applying for an online degree

You no longer need to apply separately to BYU-Idaho or Ensign College to continue your online degree program after PathwayConnect! Simply follow the tasks in your new student portal to choose a degree and certificates, remove registration holds, and complete an ecclesiastical endorsement.

Transfer credits can be submitted after you finish registration. They won’t be required to continue your online degree.

Students will still need to meet PathwayConnect completion requirements to continue.

Students who completed PathwayConnect in September–December 2024

• A D- or better in PC 101, PC 102, PC 103, and their introductory certificate course
• A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher in the four courses above

Students who will complete PathwayConnect in 2025

• A C or better in PC 101, PC 102, and PC 103
• A C- or better in their introductory certificate course
• 2 passing credits for religion courses (institute)
