Accessing Courses in Canvas
You will be using a new version of Canvas to access 2025 courses. Be sure to use the link from your student portal (byupw.instructure.com). Your courses won't show in older instances of Canvas you may have bookmarked, like byui.instructure.com.
2025 Block 1 began January 6, but there's still time to start any time in this first week. Access Canvas and your school email by logging in to your student portal and following the steps below. We wish you the best as you begin your courses!
Log in to Canvas
To access your courses, enable popups in your browser (if you haven’t already) and navigate to “Academics” then “Go to Class.”
Log in to your school email
Your instructors will send important information to your byupathway.edu email.
- Enable popups in your browser (if you haven’t already).
- In the main menu, go to “My Profile” then “Username & Emails.”
- Select “Go to Email Inbox.”
- You will be redirected and logged in to Microsoft Outlook.
Note: Some emails from instructors or replies from students aren’t being delivered. We’re working on a solution. If you haven’t received emails from your instructors, make sure they aren’t in your spam or junk folder, or check back in a few days.
