Thank you for your patience during this transition to a new system that will allow us to eventually serve many more students. This page will provide progress updates on system issues and troubleshooting tips.

Issues Tracker

Issue	Status/Solution
Registration errors	Several issues are impacting course registrations. We apologize if you have been unable to register for the courses you need for Block 1. If you encounter issues registering for Block 2, please submit a ticket at help.byupathway.edu.
Tuition changes	Some students are seeing incorrect tuition charges and/or experiencing payment issues. Payments have been temporarily turned off until the issues are resolved. The late fee has been removed for 2025 Block 1 (Jan.–Feb.).
Gathering holds	ALL students have to select a religion gathering time to clear the hold, regardless of whether or not they plan to register for a religion course. If you were experiencing a gathering hold previously, try again, as a few fixes have been implemented.
Students unable to log in to new portal	If you haven’t been able to log in to the new portal yet, follow the steps in this short video. Please make sure you are using this secure browser link: https://portal.byupathway.edu (not http://).
Missing contact information	A portion of students did not have their personal emails moved to the new system. If you haven’t received any emails, check your school email. Use login@byupathway.edu to sign in to portal.byupathway.edu > My Profile > Username & Emails > Go to Email Inbox.
Canvas enrollments not matching student portal	Your Canvas courses may not match the class schedule in your portal. A daily clearing process is scheduled until this issue can be fully fixed.
Student portal and Canvas login	Most issues with authenticating portal login information and access to Canvas are resolved. If you are still having issues logging in, please wait until after January 13 to submit a support ticket.
Course planning errors	Issues like missing Term 1 or religion courses in your student portal are actively being resolved. Check your portal regularly for updates.
Religion credits	Students only need two religion credits to complete PathwayConnect. If you cannot register for a religion course this term, you will be able to fulfill the course requirement next term.
