BYU-Pathway Worldwide brings spiritually based higher education to the world, creating opportunities for 74,839 students in 2024 to earn marketable certificates and degrees wherever they live. 15 Years of BYU-Pathway
In 2009, a small pilot with just 50 students in three U.S. cities marked the beginning of BYU-Pathway’s global impact. Over 15 years, BYU-Pathway has grown to serve a total of 252,395 in 180 countries. Watch this video to see how students have been blessed by pursuing higher education!
The Strength of Students in Africa
In 2011, a small group of students gathered for the first time in Ghana, officially making BYU‑Pathway “worldwide.” Today, students in Africa make up a third of BYU‑Pathway’s enrollment, with some weekly gatherings reaching up to 1,500 students!
